EMBRACE YOUR POTENTIAL IN PRACTICE AND TEACHING
THIS TRAINING WILL PROVIDE:
Fluency in yoga’s history and philosophy
Fundamentals of effective yoga teaching for regular and special populations and trauma informed
Restorative, Gentle, Yin, Prenatal and Post Natal Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Hot Yoga
A solid understanding of the bones, muscles and fascia involved in effective yoga practice
A deep exploration of the subtle body and energy alignment through the lens of Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine and observation
Seeing and understanding bodies
Adapting yoga postures for different bodies and conditions (Effective use of props and modifications)
Art of Breathing, mindfulness techniques and meditation
Grounding in yoga teacher business skills
Sequencing for Flow classes, Gentle, Yin, Chair yoga, Restorative and Meditation
The role of the teacher: Adjustments, Observation, Verbal Communication, Planning Classes, Building Confidence.
Training includes required reading and video material, independent assignments, practice teaching and final presentation.
2023 in person meetings: Saturdays and Sundays 1 pm - 5 pm Dates: January 7 - 8/February 4 - 5 /March 11 - 12/April 15 - 16 and May 6 - 7
There will be reading and recorded material, weekly mentoring and practicums.

Students successfully completing all of the above will receive a 200-hour teacher training certificate compliant with Yoga Alliance regulations for accreditation.
